Shirl and I will be out somewhere among fields, farms or the Smokies and smell a certain aroma wafting through the air and get a rush of nostalgia. Most times, strangely enough, it is a smell of cows or horses. I grew up around race horses at a race track in Florida, she in a rural area of Tennessee.
