The only one I'm not sure I ever visited - as a kid or an adult - is the Union 76. Great trivia post, Galen.

Good old memories of all of them. GDH, Union 76 was started in California and for a while that was the only place you saw them in the 70's.

We had all of them around here at some point. Plus a big one around our area were the Sohio stations. Seems Ohio was a mecca for a lot of different brands.😊

I remember three: Shell, Mobil, and Union 76 - I'm pretty sure I went to one in the early 1980's.

I remember them from my last duty station in the Army; Presidio of San Francisco, Letterman General Hospital in 1968. They were around in '76 but at some time became Unocal. Not sure if that transpired before or after 76.
