One of our friends is a US expat from Brooklyn, who is is also first generation US from Sicily.  As an aside, my favorite street cop is Salvo Montalbano and if any members have missed this series - Montalbano (in its original Italian language), run to your video shop and get the series, including Young Montalbano series.

Cool! Thanks! Cool

@perrone1 Hey Tony; just letting you know that Luigi arrived and he just smiled when I said "No Whacka Jacka".  I think he was kind of relieved because he could see I was a nice person; it may have been my personalizing your CODE phrase that did it for me.  He's a great guy; he's driving me out to a country inn for lunch...on him!  I offered to take my car but he insisted that I was getting led today!

@perrone1   I forgot to mention Montalbano is filmed in Sicily, at the southern shore.  A friend visited a few years ago, and sent photos of the village used as the backdrop for the show, Punta Secca, as well as the very beach-front house Salvo Montalbano occupied as the main character.  I removed her from one of the images, as I didn't think she would want me to post her photo, but she would be okay with posting the buildings and scenery.  The series is worth watching for the scenery and food, alone, though for me the magic is the language.  For those who require subtitles, they are in English on the DVD.
