My day off...

Helped my 7 year old grandson build his Pinewood Derby racer.

Changed the spark plugs on my 55 Imperial. If you know anything about Hemis you know this is a much more involved than most motors where the spark plugs are exposed.

what a fine fine tradition !!!......my Grandfather was no longer around when my Dad and I built my (50`s) racer in his basement workshop....I`ll never forget his words to me that day : "John !!!!.....Go upstairs and tell your Mom to find something to keep you busy outside!!"

I mowed the lawn and planted four flats of annuals in the front yard.  I hope to stand fully erect by tomorrow.

Wow, does that pork look good, John ! Man, I'm hungry now ........

Getting the patio ready for summer and finishing work in our raised bed gardens are on tap for today, tomorrow cut the lawn. What the heck am I still doing sitting on the computer, time to get busy.

@pete-rovero There was a time when I did that too.  That's a lot of holes to dig.  Hope you used an auger.  Beautiful.

Spent 2 hours in the dentist chair Friday having a top rear molar pulled. Turns out it was fused to the wisdom tooth above it that I never knew I had.

A day to forget. That pulled pork looks like a fantastic meal. Maybe by Monday.

as Doctor Poker DDS, hunkers over you,one foot on your knee to keep you in your place,you desperately try to ooze down thru the seams of the dental chair,like a cockroach on a baseboard.....yeah sure Doc,fire up some o` them rotary tools and we can make a day of it!!!!!!
