Dayum, that's a pretty comprehensive list ! Thanks for sharing it with us. I'd have to actually sit and write down exactly what I like and don't like. My list would be similar to yours as I was born in 53 and so there's a lot of cars in the '50s thru 70s that I like and dislike. After all the bumper regulations came out which I think started in 73 with the fronts I pretty much disliked most cars. I got myself a 76 Scirocco for it's size and gas mileage and bought my first new car...a 78 Wolfsburg Edition Scirocco that I saw sitting on the showroom floor in November of '77 and I bought it on the spot. I was so excited that night when I went home I couldn't wait to come back the next day to finalize the financing and pick it up👍 Steve

I'll work on getting my list of American cars that I absolutely love and absolutely dislike. Thanks for this post !

Love them all, big or small, foreign or domestic, old or new, hardtop or soft, two doors or more, basic or top of the line. Get the picture? If it has a motor and wheels, it’s worthy of a look. Absolutely no reason to paint myself into a corner.

John, after what you said about painting yourself into a corner do you have any particular paint color for a car that you like most ?

I'm partial to B5 blue on mopars especially a 70 cuda. I also like plum crazy that's one of my favorite colors as a matter of fact I really like all the high impact Mopar colors from those years. There are quite a few Ford colors I like too and some Chevy colors I always like a Corvette in LeMans blue I think it was called and Marlboro Red / Maroon.

I'm with you John. I have a few scale towable vehicles and dioramas too!

Steve, I see myself favoring the color Red, but bottom line it all depends on the car. Certain cars look best in certain colors.

I agree. I loved my '70 Trans-Am in red with white hood scoop / fender vents. I've never seen another one of that year in that color.
