I've had a few Nissans, always fun to drive.

@sizedoesmatter, I've owned two, a '99 Altima, which was a great car, and a 2008 Altima with the 3.5 V6 and a 6-speed manual. That '08 was one of the most fun cars I've ever experienced.

@jkuvakas - John, my first was a '85 Datsun Pulsar NX coupe, we'd refer to it as the "Red Roadster." The second and third were both Maxima's, a '97 and and a 2000. My current ride is a '18 Infiniti AWD Q50 with a V6, twin turbos and a 7 speed shiftable auto. Throttle response is amazing. My current dilemma, what do I replace it with when my lease ends in about 2 mouths.

Nice lineup! Those Pulsars were cool! I've been looking at a Kia Stinger.

When I got married back in 1978, my wife owned a Datsun B 210 Honeybee, anybody remember those?

@sizedoesmatter John; if you haven't put a stack of miles on your Infiniti and enjoy it, maybe a buy-out is worth considering??
@david-vandermeer, I had a friend who had one. It was affordable and extremely dependable.

@jack-dodds - Jack, I was on target with the miles up until the pandemic hit. I've put very few miles on it since. I paid for 39,000 miles but I suspect it will only have about 27K miles at lease end. I considered buying it, but I'm lured by the prospect of getting something new. It goes against my grain to purchase. Except for my Vettes, I've been leasing since the early '90s. I'm put off spending $25k or so on a car that's pushing 4 years old. My ongoing dilemma.

@sizedoesmatter I see what you mean and there is also the comfort of having a car with bumper to bumper warranty.
@jkuvakas - John, They are nice, you may want to look at the K5 GT too.

A friend had a Nissan Frontier around 1999 and warned me to stay away from Nissan because they have a constant need for fixing, always minor but always there. I did not take heed, bought a 2007 Murano, a very nice car BUT always seemed to have something minor wrong; windshield wiper does not wipe properly the service manager agreed but the factory said there was no problem, then why does the wiper seem to drag water 2/3s of the way back across the windshield, the faster you go the more water[guess by other mechanics the wind shield had warp in it] Nissan refused to do anything about it saying there was no problem. Couldn't fuel fill on automatic it would constantly kick off so you had to stand there and slowly fill the tank. A wield broke in the drivers seat, and 3 or 4 other minor problems Nissan fixed. I traded it for a perfect 09 Toyota Venza never had ANY problems with it.
Am I out of touch, Brie Larson, never heard of her, but she definitely looks great.
Bruce; Interesting that you say this...a couple of weeks ago I was speaking with a older mechanic I respect, who said that Nissans were good vehicles with the exception of the Murano, which is prone to frequent repair needs. I also have several friends who currently drive Venzas and they all love them.
