Nice way to end the day

"This song is performed in The Sagrada Familia Expiatory Church in Barcelona, Spain, and is a remarkable performance. It also gives you a look inside the Church designed by the Famed Architect Antonio Gaudi... It is spectacular and while either very close to being finished or finished has been under construction or almost 125 years. It may be that last great cathedral built for any Christian faith. The decor is fantastic.
Even more interesting is that the song is being sung in Catalan. This is the language of the "Moors" or Muslims and it is being sung in a Catholic church.
It is a treat to see and hear the bagpipes. Gaudi's Masterpiece Cathedral.......Sacred, we some, inspirational & unbelievable!! Concert held at the Sagrada Familia Church in Barcelona, in memory of the victims of terrorism. "Safe in the hand of God" (Amazing Grace) sung in Catalan."

That was breathtakingly beautiful. Thank-you John for this treat. I simultaneously experienced chills and goosebumps. Thank-you again for sharing this with us. I hope more Forum readers will watch this. Now it's on to the Cathedral which I'd seen a piece on 60 Minutes years ago but will love to see again.

I visited this site!
While in the US Army I was stationed in Germany in 1970-71 and was able to visit this site and watch some of the work being done. No crowds then not what it looks like as construction is mostly complete.
