A right ugly sod it is too! I have to confess I don't like any Rolls Royce..
from the BMW era. Whereas Bentleys look good (Bentayga apart), RR look like sheds and all the wonderful craftsmanship in the world can't disguise the drab styling. Grumpy? Me?? Of course!!
Agree with you though.....Grumpy 2.0
I agree, John, these BMW era creations are an abomination.
In fact I was nearly physically ill after seeing a late model Rolls in a car park building in Singapore recently. The car was painted matt black; lowered with snowflake white interior and sheepskin seat covers. In the wheel wells were fitted glaringly bright purple lights - a must for night time cruising. Of course one could come to the obvious conclusion when thinking about the career of the cars owner, but it's more likely to be owned by a kid from a rich Asian family, a family that good taste has clearly deserted.
I commend you for resisting the urge to torch that tribute to tackiness.
A year or so ago I saw a Rolls Phantom at, of all places, a car wash. To say the cars are impressive is an understatement. The one I saw put a lump in my throat and I couldn't help wonder who owned it and what they did for a living.
Who would have ever thought that Rolls would appeal to the "Rappers"
