Here, a couple of Ford executives frantically slam their giant Lincoln convertible into reverse when they realize they are zooming up the hill on the interstate highway in the wrong direction !

The Ford exec said "Henry 2, you're gonna drive me to drinkin'
If you don't start reversin' this hot pink Lincoln!"

Great old 'staged' photo. On Ford's own test track apparently, it's a nice and probably pretty rare picture. Thanks, as always Mike, for sharing these treasures!

Thanks ! I would happily take any of those automobiles in real or (any) scale form.

Lol ! Being the only person going one way either means you might be a brave pioneer blazing their own path.....or someone who is in very serious trouble trying to force a way where there really isn't one !

Usually quite valid and inspiring advice ! I guess unless you are driving the wrong way down a one-way street .... then maybe not so valid. In this case, I'd bet the Ford execs will still be ok in their '58 Lincoln, surrounded by 38 tons of steel !
