Here is a photograph taken at the GMC Truck display at the Chicago Auto Show in the early 1950's, about the time my Dad first had them as a client for the exhibit and display company he was with.
The big white GMC emergency vehicle looks great and, of course, I would really love to go to Beavertown ... it must be an absolute wonder village !
I am sure there is a lot to see and do there and it is well-protected against any outbreak of fires with this beautiful truck on patrol. All hail Beavertown, PA and their big GMC !
Nice picture.

A handsome truck Mike.
It sure is a good-looking vehicle and I am delighted to also have a 1/24 scale white color Seagrave firetruck from Yat Ming in their 1/24 and 1/43 firetruck series. YM did a series of firetrucks in their exceptionally nice releases from some years ago.
The YatMing fire trucks were excellent models at good prices. I never collected trucks because of space limitations but I sure do like them.
They were really nicely done, Bob. I obtained several at a very good price some years ago at a Menards Home Center holiday sale. Excellent replicas !
