I always thought the Maverick, particularly adorned with the blacked out grill, and a set of ...

... nices "shoes" was a good looking vehicle.

Doug Nash, of "Bronco Buster" drag racing fame custom built a few Boss 302 Mavericks for street use. I actually came across him once on Michigan Blvd in Wayne. I was in my all powerful and virtually unbeatable '71 429 Mach 1. We did a very short stop light drag race and his custom Boss Maverick dispatched me in short order. That was a great looking and great performing little car. I wanted one!

I bought a '54 Sprint brand new. It was a nice car, but very light in the rear end. I really wanted a 4-speed, but had to settle for three on the tree.

Ha! Ford made the Falcon in '54???

:D;):))

Like you, I always liked the Sprint too. Of course, the Mustang is just a re-skinned Falcon.

First new car was a 64 Futura convertible

It was a 260 3-speed. Did not want to spend extra money for 4-speed nor upgrade to Mustang. Great little car.

Love them all, but especially partial to that first red 64 Comet

I had one that set pretty much the way that one does. It was just a different color.

Yep, and in 1955 they made the Douche for everyone that got a Falcon in 1954.
