Here is a very neat staged picture (obviously !) of the Checker cab which has been done beautifully in a couple of colors in 1/43 scale. In this picture, it is driving right through a hotel lobby apparently !

The provision of adequate air cooling for the front brakes and for the removal of excess heat from the engine compartment are outstanding features of the design.
