The 65 Chevrolet along with the 62 Chevrolet were the best looking Chevy's of the 1960's.

I agree, a beautiful design in all body styles.

Beautiful, rare car.
The 1967 and 1969 Impala/Caprices were the the best looking Chevys of the 1960s.
The '68 wasn't bad looking either, imo.
I like 1959 through the 1970 Chevrolet. I think they all have great lines.
Rare ?
The first 65 Chevy I saw was a blue convertible we got stuck behind on a state hiway. I couldn't figure out what the heck kind of car it was. All I saw, since it was a convertible was the bumper and three taillights weirdly stuck in the trunk lid. I didn't like it. To this day I think the 65 Chevy is one of the ugliest ones ever made. Strangely enough, they cleaned up what I didn't like about the 65s for 66 and I thought it was one of the best looking Chevies made. I also like the 67 although not near as much as the 66. After that they just got uglier and uglier. But for 65 I just can't get past those terrible taillights in the trunk lid and the ugly front grille (to me only, apparently, but that's the way it is in my world lol)
1962, 61, 64, 65, 63, 66 in that order for me. All are gorgeous cars!
After '66 they were less attractive but still very decent IMO.
The SS 396 4-speed is very hard to find in my part of the world.
I would exclude 1970 myself.
Did you ever find it?
