@david-vandermeer I remember the Philco of that era; and the RCA. Ours, if memory serves, was a Muntz. And quite honestly, I do not recall the size but somewhere around the same size as the radio it replaced.

Lol, here is "some guy" watching TV on their giant Zenith set with his Dad in the living room at the family home in 1955. I wonder if "Highway Patrol" was playing on the new television ?

Also, Maisto made a diecast replica of the "Highway Patrol" Buick in 1/27 scale. Pretty cool !
This is a cool model, indeed. With an addition of a long antenna and some minor detailing to the wheels and other parts, it comes really close to the 1:1 car.
