Unquestionably the '61. Looking at that picture of the '62 made my eyes hurt!

I do wish the original full-size S-Series Dodge/Chrysler Corp had been done instead and released. I think they likely would have looked better from a design standpoint.
@moe-parr Barry, I agree with you. The 61 would be even better if it were the Polara in my opinion.
You're at the top of your game again today John! WOW. So many points of design that either don't 'flow' or are just egregious to the eye.
I do not care for the 'reverse wing' of the '61. But I REALLY dislike the four 'eyes' of the '62, where two are low and two are high.
I do like the front end of the '61, its color combo and those wheels are gorgeous. So; '61 please!
I voted 1961. I like the light blue. I know these were transitional years but what was going on in their minds. I much rather the Plymouths or Chryslers for those two years or better 1963.
1962. It's smaller and even weirder.

Bob, if I recall the '61 Polara and '61 Phoenix shared the same ugly body style.@moe-parr Barry, I agree with you. The 61 would be even better if it were the Polara in my opinion.

Voting was easy for me this morning. I voted THE '61. I thought the '61 Dodge and Plymouth were gorgeous after the finned monsters of 1960. For the '61 Dodge, I love the "reverse tail fins". They are different and stylish to my eyes.
As for the '62 version, I've never been able to figure out what the hell happened in the board room at Chrysler to let either the '62 Dodge or '62 Plymouth go in to production. It must have been a heck of a drug party that resulted in both just plain ugly designs coming off the assembly line.

'61 - '63 Dodge & Plymouth were butt ugly IMO, while both Ford & GM looked great '61 - '64. If I have to choose the '61 is the lessor of two evils.
The nose of the '62 is strange as is the tail end of the '61. I much prefer the '62.
