Nash was a very familiar car for me growing up in the forties and fifties. We never had one but the family admired them, and the other car we never had, a Hudson. Great choice John and excellent info!!
A luxurious monster. I remember sitting in the back seat of one of these in the early 1950s.
I thought Nash styling through 1948 was handsome and then came the 49s which I never warmed to. The new design included many engineering improvements such as unibody construction and innovations such as the fold down seat backs. Over the years I have tried to like these cars but can't seem to make that happen although I have several models which I love having in my collection.
When I see a pic of the Nash, I can't help but think of the Superman TV series from back in the 1950s.

Good-looking cars with this very useful and practical feature which the parents of young girls probably greatly feared, lol !
