I rather like the classic looks of this dry lakes racer. While designed for straight line speed, it has a short wheelbase and shortened tail which should indicate good cornering ability.
John, This one is compelling. Talk about an early hot rod, this qualifies. An early flathead, overhead valve addition, headers, 2 carbs, wow! I'd love to hear this one run. Thanks for sharing this one!
very interesting choice John. To my untrained eye the car looks like a snazzy late 30s 2 seater sports car, with a very unique front end grill. I like the near last line in the commentary "Indeed, it could well be considered a forerunner of the high-quality customization efforts that would help make Hot Rodding a serious business after the war ended."
