Now that is ahead of its time.  Should have been built, I would love to have one.

@carsman1958 +1  I agree!  It has such a European flair.

Duel Ghia, better pic of actual car

"Though Firearrow IV was never produced en masse, the general idea of it did reach limited production. Businessman Eugene Casaroll purchased the rights to the design from Chrysler and contracted with Ghia to build the Dual-Ghia. Between 1956 and 1958, Ghia made 117 of them at a hefty price of $7646"

Dont u just love excerpts like this:

"Following its U.S. press tour, the car was apparently sold to a dealer in Venezuela and on to a private owner in late 1954. A decade later it found itself on a used car lot in Caracas, after which it appeared for sale in the pages of the December 1964 issue of Motor Trend. It vanished for a bit after that, resurfacing in the 1980s at a hacienda about 90 miles outside of Caracas."

Great stuff thanks John.

An awesome vehicle that Chrysler largely ignored - I mean, they really didn't copy much of this design language when you consider what was actually produced from 1954-1960, right?  🤔   I'm glad Eugene Casaroll took matters into his own hands.

A fabulous choice of "Something Different" John!!

Ghia certainly designed some masterful concept cars. I echo that this is one which would have been welcomed. Competition to Corvette? Yeah, I can see that and it would have made for interesting results. Thanks John!!

Very similar to the Chrysler Dart concept also by Ghia.

I really liked the Italian design influence of the 1950s. So many wonderful designs that unfortunately remained as concepts or very low production.

Yep; Chrysler went nuts with these beautiful concept cars. The DeSoto Adventurer II Coupe:
