@jack-dodds, even after all that, I would buy another Fiat, Spyder, or X1/9. They were that much fun to drive... when they worked. 🙄

@jkuvakas I did get to drive a buddy's 124S on a windy backroad.  It was an awesome ride; very comfortable for a sports car.  Such a shame they were so unreliable.

@sizedoesmatter The shape of the X 1/9 reminds me of another total piece of crap.....the Triumph TR-7.  A coworker bought one exactly like this example in 1980.  He didn't even keep it a year and has bought nothing but Hondas to this day.  Compared to the attractive TR-6 this one was butt ugly to my eye.
