I absolutely LOVE that car John! Never heard of or have seen it before now. My first thought looking at it is 'refined'. It is a smooth, sleek, purposeful Automobile highly enriched from the standard VW lines and looks Aristocratic in those two-tone colors. The darker top enhances the car quite a bit. And gorgeous appointments all over. GREAT choice of today's 'Something Different'!

The wheel covers look like they are off of a C1 Corvette. The car is attractive.

I like it. It reminds me very much of the Borgward Isabella from a similar period.

You have a fine, discerning eye signor. It IS reminiscent of the Borgward Isabella:

@perrone1 I always liked the Isabella coupe and wagon for some reason....even as a teenager.

Me too. A friend and school mate's father, owned a used car lot for many years. He seemed to gravitate to foreign cars. He had a Borgward Isabella on the lot and Joel and I sat it and started it but dad never allowed us to drive the cars - dang it!!

Yes, very handsome indeed, and I guess its fairly tall stance with narrow front and rear tracks is appropriate for its era. But you know what I'm like, I just wondered how it might look with a more modern lowered stance and wider track. As ever, feel free to ignore.

Thanks John

+1    I like it very much and that brown roof looks fantastic, but I wish they had restored/painted it in its original color - black.     I just prefer "original."
