I like all of these Ghia creations from the1950s. I have the Jaguar versions in 1/43.
The Chrysler museum had one similar or the same. Thanks John.

Boy, Chrysler really missed out on not producing some of these Ghia's.

@carsman1958 I agree John. Some the Ghia designs were pretty far out but this one looked like it was ready made for production.

what a stunning vehicle. I kinda prefer the cream and black colors. Was trying to think of a description when all I had to do was read the copy "with subtle lines that included a beltline crease, subtly finned rear fenders with bladed taillights, and a low roofline reminiscent of their coupes on Alfa Romeo chassis."

Another great selection, thanks John.

if you ever get a chance would love to see the Jaguar versions David. Also been meaning to ask if you have any Historic Replicar Jaguar models? I have a stunning 1/24 C type. Been trying to find out more about them. There's a very expensive D type on ebay at present. Thanks in advance

Wow, very regal looking. That definitely would be riding in style.

@geoff-jowett

Hi Geoff,

 I have seen the Historic Replica 1955 and 1957 LeMans winning D-Types in 1/24, I passed up on them at the time concentrating on building my 1/43 collection. I do regret that decision. 250 of each were produced, I believe and no doubt there are more other issues like your C Type. I only have a dozen or so jaguars in 1/24 or larger but over a thousand 1/43 and smaller.

I had right eye cataract surgery this week and get the other eye done Oct.21st. This has somewhat limited my photographic activity. I will do a feature on some of my Jaguars once I recover enough.

My Ghia Jaguars are from Provence Moulage kits in 1/43 resin. I also have a Matrix version, I think. I have quite a few Replicars models in 1/43 but I am sure that this is a different company.
