Back years ago, the automobile rental company Hertz used to have print and TV ads that said, "Let Hertz Put YOU in the Driver's Seat !" Naturally, the satire magazine "Mad Magazine" did a non-serious takeoff on this advertisement :

"Let Hertz....put youuuuuuu....in the hospital!"
I always loved MAD Magazine. Roger Kaputnick was my adult role model; which is why to this day, even though I don't smoke, I wear a smoking jacket and ascot for evening attire.

I barely remember Mad Magazine. I guess i was too young ‘n poor and I’m not sure where or how I even saw it. Probably an older friend.

I read MAD up to my college years. My friends and I studied the fold outs soon as the new issues came out.

It was rare when I looked at "Mad Magazine". I was too busy reading car magazines.
