PICS: A '65 Buick Wildcat convertible in a pleasant shade of gold is a beautiful body style and, in this hue, a remarkable car.

But, once again, I believed it might benefit from removal of some, or most, trim so I did so.

As found:

65 Buick W;ildcat CV Restored

Basic trim removal:

65 Buick W;ildcat CV Restored PS (2)

Significant trim removal:

65 Buick W;ildcat CV Restored PS (3)

Any of them strike your fancy?

Enjoy!

#3 Looks good as a mild custom.

Well, as much as I appreciate your skills, the 1965 Wildcat is the most attractive Buick ever produced by the company, with the 1966 a close second.  That said, I'll go with the stock version although I could get behind number 2.

Stock for me. By removing all of the features I think you remove the soul of the car.

I prefer the stock Buick but the 3rd pic is a sleek looking custom.

The color on the Buick is named Sierra Gold. That is the same color of the '65 Super Sport I purchased new way back when. Chevrolet called the color Sierra Tan.

Thanks, gentlemen, for your comments and information on the color. They are appreciated.
