'56 or '57 DeSoto?

To my eye, the 56 and 57 front ends show a bit of thunderbird which make the 57 ahead of its time and both very sharp.  However the fins on the 57 are too “over the top” for me so I went with the 56.

1956 DeSoto is one of my favorites of the 50s. Easy choice for me.

Prefer the lower wider look of the '57, wouldn't say no to either.

I'm trying to imagine which one would get more "oohs" and "aahs" driving in to a car show...I think it would be the '57.

This one is easy for me.  The '56 all the way!  One of the most beautifully styled cars of the decade.  I've never been a fan of DeSoto styling after '56.

My fave DeSotos are the 55 and 56 in that order.....so the 56 styling wins this time.
