Here is a little-known, yet very cool, automobile that my Grandfather, A.G. Danielson, was Head Chassis Engineer on. For many years, he was Assistant Chief Engineer at Diamond-T Trucks in Chicago until he passed away from cancer in October, 1957. I still remember him and he fixed my American Flyer electric trains when I was small !
This automobile was photographed right here in Riverside, IL and the house is still there. The station wagon apparently disappeared sometime after the mid-Fifties, perhaps somewhere on Chicago's West Side.
It would make a fine diecast/replica automobile in any scale.
@perrone1 +1 Mike. You are a historian when it comes to Chicago and its automobiles.
Mike, very interesting...thanks for sharing.

Interesting! A '46 Diamond T woody wagon would be something different and cool to add to my collection!
It is too bad this interesting automobile has apparently vanished into the mists of time. It sure looks great and would make a very cool replica. I do still have a scale model (about 1/6 size?) of a small car he designed in about 1946-47 during the automobile market just after World War II.
The full-size side elevation also still exists, I believe at a sister's house. (the old family home). The model is painted in a pale yellow, his favorite color !
