Absolutely! But I've never before seen that Mercury-like contrasting trim panel beneath the windows on a '56. It looks good, though I don't think it's original.

It was not an option on the Ford, a very nice after thought though. Stock in the Montclair.

The 55 isn't in there but this would be my pick color and all.
The rest are beautiful. I have always been a Ford man.

PICs: I love the 55 Crown Vic, however the other models of the 55 basically the 2 dr.ht.
the roof is too high making the side windows too high, same is true for the Mercury.

I also love the 56 dash but dislike the 55 dash.

But I do like the round parking lights on the 55 better. I guess I am back to the Charnet mind set, in that changing a few parts would make the perfect (for me) car. In this case put the 55 grill & parking lights on a 56.
