I loved the '66 even as a kid. 1963 is an icon, but I'll go '66.

Both of these now look a bit dated, but the original Riviera which was designed to be a re-emergence of the name LaSalle, has a little Ferrari and Rolls Royce in its design. And if you've driven one and like handling, the '63 is your choice. However the newer one is a close second because of such a unique design that surpassed Cadillac too. But somehow the GS wasn't as tight a handler as expected. But back then I was young and wanted my eyeballs to shake a little.

I always preferred the exposed headlights of the 63.

2nd gen (66) were so aerodynamic with the fastback look and the hideaway headlights in the GS.
It was king until the 3rd gen boattails came along.

They don't grab me but I like seeing them because they are so different.
Like the first Barracudas, their rear windows must be very pricey and hard to find.

Both are beautiful, but the '63 is one of my all time favorites.
