I liked it then, and I like it still.  Plymouth certainly was more "Forward Looking" than either Chevy or Ford was in the low price market.  All three (in my opinion) remain classics.

@sizedoesmatter Yup it's a Plaza.  Brooklin did a nice job on this rather plain looking car; good color selection.

Yes John, it's a Plaza "Club Sedan". Plymouth also made a Plaza Business Coupe for 1956, without a back seat, but from what I've read, a back seat was optional in which case it would be the same as the Club Sedan (?)

I also have Brooklin's '56 Fury, another beauty!

Brings back good memories.  My '56 Plymouth was a Belvedere 2-door hardtop, white over blue, with that new V8 and pushbutton automatic. Wow!
