The Ford was the popular favorite in the late 40's and early 50's where I grew up, but even then I preferred the Mercury. I still do.

I have forever loved the iconic styling of the '40 Ford. And in this instance the '40 Mercury is basically the same iconic styling. I love both! I was thinking I'd have to go to favorite color between the two, but I like both colors equally. So, though I don't like to vote a tie, on this one I have to. A TIE FOR ME!

Ford for me. Love both car's color but the green wins out. Also, the front fenders on the Ford look more proportioned while the Mercury's look bulky IMO.
