Poll: Which '41? (8/9/2026)

John, I like them in the order listed, Chevy, then Ford and Plymouth

And the reason I’ve chosen the Chevy is because years ago a gentleman used to bring his brother’s 41 Chevy convertible to Main Street. his brother had bought the car just before shipping out for World War II and he never came back. Their mom had the car parked in his garage for 20 or almost 30 years before she gave it up to the other younger brother this gentleman which I got to meet was amazed at the beauty of that convertible. I remember it. I wish I had pictures to show. It was a burgundy color and I remember it was the top-of-the-line Chevy deluxe convertible, the chrome, trim or stainless trim I should say had all of the red painted in it it was just beautiful and it always had crowds drawn around it. Over the years, so many people have died and are not showing up at this Garden Grove show anymore. I don’t have their names. All I know was that I used to see their cars and come on over and shake their hands and used to have a lot of fun with them

Plymouth, Chevy, Ford.  My least favorite is the Ford with those chrome strips running under the headlights to the grill.  They remind me of oxygen lines that people wear when they have trouble breathing.

I like them all for different reasons. I like the Chevy for its WWII fighter pilot styling look. The Ford has a tall & proud roof, well delineated! The Plymouth is clean and sharp overall.

I dislike the Sun Shade on the Chevy and the weird horizontal lines on the front & rear fenders of the Ford. I don't fully understand it but I'm going Plymouth!! And happy to do so!!

It’s a tie between Plymouth and Chevy.  I like the shape of both.  The Ford roof line looks like a bubble.

Chevrolet slightly ahead with the other two tied. The visor detracts from the Chevrolet but I chose to ignore it.

I was going to vote tie. Then I remembered the Chevys I have seen at car shows, both restored and hot rodded. I have the 41Chevy in both 1/18 and 1/24. The Ford is a let down after the 40 Ford.  The first Plymouth I've seen is the 47. So I voted for the Chevy.

Too old for my taste, bet my father loved them.
