I love the Ford. It's the future in 1951. It wins despite my father's 1951 Chevy has plenty of memories. Chevy 2nd.

Definitely the Ford. They do not have the rear pontoon fenders and it just looks cleaner.

As much as I love the Chevy, by 51 the ponton-styling of the rear fender was getting a little long in the tooth. Gotta go with the Ford for its early jump into the fifties.

My reaction is the same.  Ford, then the Plymouth and Chevrolet.

Ford by the smallest of margins. I have always liked the 51 and 52 Chevy's style but the Ford's V8 makes it my pick. Ford, Chevrolet, Plymouth.

John, your ability to color coordinate the selections is masterful sir.

Ford, for its power train, handling and looks. It was also our first North American car after my family arrived in Canada.

Ford is my choice too. What an outstanding design for ‘51.

The 51 Ford is my favorite of the shoe box Fords, The Chevy comes in second.

Ford gets the nod for its more modern styling (but I prefer the '49 & '50 grille and dash treatment) and for its power train.  Tie between the Chevy and Plymouth for second.
