'51 DeSoto or Oldsmobile?

This one was tough, as I like both cars a lot. But the edge goes to the Oldsmobile for three reasons, 1) the color; 2) the non-split windshield; and 3) it's an Oldsmobile.

The Oldsmobile looks slightly more modern, probably because of the one piece windshield, but I still prefer the DeSoto overall.

I prefer the styling of the Olds in '51; the DeSoto is a nice looking car, but seems dated by comparison.

51 Oldsmobile for me the Desoto just reeks of the 40s lol.

If you are viewing these thru 80 year old eyes,is there a correlation to what a 70 year old might see in a `61 auto issue?.....not the same car,of course....but the same nostalgic "value"
Hummmm, so 60 year old would be 1971 cars; 30 year old would be a 2001; 10 year old would be 2021 car, sounds about right. 90 would be 41 cars, 100 would be 31; still sounds about right. I prefer fifty one to seventy one, almost fits.
