The 1953 Chevrolet Corvette was the origin of an incredible marque and I choose it for that reason. The other three I consider about equal.

Corvette is number one followed closely by the Buick. Cadillac and Olds are tied for number three although all of these cars are Iconic.

Fascinating! My heart tells me "Corvette" but, knowing the performance limitations and teething issues of the Corvette, my eyes and my garage go for the Buick.

No interest in the GMC line up for '53.  '53 for me would be the Hudson or Mercury.

Buick, Cadillac, Olds then Corvette.  The first two are extremely close.

I remember well this 1953 GM line, especially the Corvette.  At that time I was more impressed by Kaiser's sliding doors Darrin, but now that Kaiser is long gone, I see the Vette is still around.  As I remember, Buick's failure to use the new "wrap-around" windshield was a disappointment, and the Cadillac was just beyond even a teen ager's imaginination.  That leaves the Oldsmobile, and, yes, I still like it.  I just wish the Olds V8 had been put in the Kaiser-Darrin, and the big Kaisers too.

Corvette, Buick (cool lines) followed closely by Caddy, and Olds.  Great lineup.

I absolutely love the Fiesta, especially in this livery.

Next up is the Eldorado.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

The cars in my post were special offerings for each of the 4 divisions. Pontiac did not offer any vehicles above or beyond the norm.
