I’ve always like that classic Buick but chose the Lincoln in this side by side comparison. Packard third, Olds, Caddy then Chrysler. 👍

IMO all others fade when the Skylark is in the picture. BUICK.
Fiesta first, Lincoln second. Buick at third, Cadillac fourth.
Love that Fiesta, especially in these colors.

Wow John, everything but the kitchen sink for 1953 Middle Class Americana here. Have to go with the Packard followed by the Lincoln and Chrysler. Not too keen on the other two.
Cadillac by a dagmar over Buick, then Packard, Chrysler, Olds and Lincoln in that order.

David, 1953 Middle Class Americana? I don't think so. I would have expected to see these cars parked at the most exclusive golf and country clubs. The members of course would be in the lounge sipping champagne cocktails and the like. These cars were for the wealthy trend setters.

It's 8 hours later and now I want the Lincoln closely followed by the Fiesta. What will happen after the next 8 hours? I know: I'll be asleep, hopefully dreaming of both.

Tough one again, at 1st I figured I'd pick the Buick, but after studying them a bit, I went with the Lincoln.
The rest would be in this order, Chrysler, Buick, Packard, Cadillac and then Oldsmobile.

Chrysler, Oldsmobile, Lincoln, Packard, Cadillac, Buick. The colors played a large part in my choices.

This was an interesting "Which One?" tonight. Interesting because it was just choosing cars (at least) for me, based only on style. Looking at them, was somewhat of a moving target for me, but as I type this, here is how I vote.
1) Oldsmobile 2) Buick 3) Cadillac 4) Lincoln 5) Chrysler 6) Packard.
Of the group, it's the Lincoln that I struggle with. Not because I don't like it, but rather because I do! But then against GM's Fiesta, Skylark, and Eldorado, I can't put the Lincoln above them. As for the Chrysler and Packard, to my eyes both are just old and frumpy looking. I'd picture old guys for sure driving them.
Back to GM's Triple Crown beauties for '53, each has distinctive modern styling and a hint of what was to come over the next couple of years.

They are all '50's beauties .... real stunners in my view. My Dad had a 1953 Chevrolet sedan.
