'53 Buick or Packard?

Both are outstanding and it was a tough choice for me John but I’ve always loved that Buick.

I am not a Buick fan. Packard, on the other hand. Quality and nostalgia!

Did not care for the 50's GM models, so Packard gets my vote today.

Two fine 'halo' cars from '53. I give a slight edge to the Packard; its proportions are so good that you don't appreciate how large a car it is until you are viewing it in person.

i voted for the Buick growling grill and all. I recently watched a movie "Across the River and Through the Trees" sent in early 1950"s. There was a 53 Buick Convertible featured. The power of the engine in that car sounded amazing. I don't think the outdated Packard would growl like that. I was sold on the Buick.

Beautiful and desirable automobiles I would be delighted and proud to have and drive either back in 1953 or right now. I have scale replicas of each magnificent American car.
