poll: Which '55? (2/13/2026)

What really beautiful automobiles ! Although my Mercury cars from that era are right now mostly gorgeous 1956 models, I am delighted to also have a number of the stunning 1955 Pontiacs, mostly in 1/18 scale. In the real world, my family had a two-tone blue 1955 4-door Pontiac sedan.

Let me say that I'd take both without hesitation, but if given the choice to only have one of them, the MERCURY wins by a landside!  I'd reverse this scenario if they were '56's.
