DeSoto. It looks like a GT next to the Pontiac.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Nice Pontiac but despite not liking that colour, I’ll go with the DeSoto.
The Desoto certainly has more modern lines but I am just a sucker for that Pontiac hood ornament every time.

Love both but the Pontiac evokes great memories for me.
Of all the "Which Ones" you have given us John, this one is the most obvious "no-brainer" for me. The DESOTO is absolutely the better looking of the two. Not that I don't like the Pontiac, but going head-to-head with the DeSoto, it's a no-contest! DESOTO!

I love both of these cars and both are my favorites of their marques in the 1950s. I give a slight edge to the Pontiac....simply because I am a huge Pontiac fan; plus the '55 Pontiac is the car I learned to drive on.
The DeSoto is nice but for me Pontiac has it beat.

If these were ‘56s I’d vote DeSoto but for ‘55 I prefer the Pontiac.

Love both but the Pontiac evokes great memories for me.
Bob; The black/ivory convertible that replaced the totaled '54, I seem to recall you remarking.
