Yikes! This one is a challenge!! This evening, my order would be '67, '65, '69. But it could change easily tomorrow. I love them all.

I have diecast replicas of all these beautiful and powerful mid-sized Pontiacs.
In the order shown. The 1965 is so clean. They're all terrific though.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
The 67 is the best of the lot. 69 for the competitive design with other GMs for that year. Finally 65 early development.
I'm with John K. The 67 matured into a svelte and formidable force. The 65 though still maturing, is going through puberty and the 69 has started to overstay its welcome.
67, 65, 69.
Oh John, asking me to pick my favorite GTO is like asking me to pick my favorite child or grandchild. I love them all.😁💯

I love the earlier GTO design. I give the nod today to the '65.
Voted a tie. I love all GTOs equally. Even the 2006.
@jack-dodds, this morning I agree! That car was something magical when it was introduced. The difference between a LeMans and a GTO was not much more than some emblems and a hood scoop. But we all knew what was under the hood, and it was a sensation!

Reverse order for me. 1969, 1967, 1965. The '69 is purest in form, no vinyl top like the other two, no vent windows, and the least amount of bling in the front end. Plus, it has those hidden headlights that make it the most sinister looking of the three. And, it was the most powerful GTO, up to 370 HP out of the 400cid Ram Air IV engine.
