@sizedoesmatter I was well aware of this alien craft long ago, and even though I tried to erase the trauma of seeing it it still lurks somewhere in the nether regions of my memory. I was trying to imagine that a younger person seeing a photo of the car today would assume that the design could not come from a group of human beings, at least not sober one’s. I hope no one in this group will take offense to my remarks, it’s just therapy for me to vent like this. Each individual has their own idea of beauty, even if they are dead wrong. NOTE: Intended ‘humor’.
WANING; Once you see these you will not be able to un-see them!

I LOVE THE MERCRUY! Yea, a lot of "Bling" (as some have referred it having), but in this case that Bling made a bold statement! It shouted, "I'm different" from the status quo. Fifty-Seven model year for me offered three cars that I liked, the Chrysler, the Oldsmobile, and the MERCRUY!
Yikes! For me, this one was tough! Ultimately, considering this is the fifties, I have to disagree with Tony and say, "Too much bling is not enough!" I vote for the Mercury and hope LeRoy Jetson doesn't go bad and try to steal it.
Oh yeah. THIS coming from the Karaoke King, Kuvakas Ice!
