@georgeschire Out of consideration, I omitted the final part of my previous response. However, given consideration of other peoples' right to buy models of the scale of their choosing, without commentary is evidently not the 'American way', I shall add it now. Most people, when they read 'America' will think of a geographical location, where there's plenty of space and where things have tended to be bigger than elsewhere. Not freedom, nor freedom of choice.
This back and forth between us has went much longer that it likely should have. For my part in this, my apologies. Every car lover is entitled to buy the model scale of their choice. I've not debated that, but perhaps my saying that I personally think the 1:43 scale is too small has been taken in the wrong vein. Again my apologies. I think the horse is dead, so I'm moving on with a final, "to each their own preference in scale" is all good.

A civil discussion...marvelous. Happy New Year to all!

Edsel. I think they're neat and great conversation pieces.
Love each of them. Both are typical for many 1958 offerings so I went with a tie.
