Edsel because the 1958 Buick and Olds are the nadir of 1950s GM styling IMO.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

Easy one for me, Edsel over that ugly Oldsmobile. How they could let that happen after the beautiful 57 is beyond me.

@perrone1 Tony your compassion is commendable, but may I suggest an eye appointment?

Unbelieveable what happened to Buick and Olds in '58 as the shoulder years are so well done.  Edsel gets the nod.

Both have ugly styling in my opinion hence, no interest today.  '58 I would have bought a T-bird.

I’ll go with Edsel but that honker of a nose Lordy! Edsel is definitely out classed here. Don’t like the skirts on either.  We had a 63 square Plymouth and my dad would put skirts on.  They were horrible on that car.
The 58 Oldsmobile and Buick were monsters that year maybe trying to steal into Cadillac market?  I do like the grill on the Olds.

I like both of these rather uniquely styled automobiles. The 1958 recession and the public's perception of the polarizing styling of both of them didn't help sales that year, although I would be delighted with either of them. I have a some Edsel diecast models and I wish Precision Miniatures would have been able to do their 1958 Oldsmobile, too.

Love both but it's the Edsel that wins my vote.

Gents, thanks for your replies.
