I give Plymouth my vote very last gasp for fins before walking through 60 and then squaring off in 62.  That car 1960 in red and white was something. Dads cousin had one.  The Chevy also with last of fins is second finding its way into 1961.  I just can’t find the Ford interesting enough except for the taillights.

I have diecast replicas of all of these really gorgeous American full-size automobiles as they started the 1960's. I would be delighted driving any of these beauties back then,  especially as 2-door hardtop coupes. My 1/18 examples of these cars are of the coupe variety.

For me Chevrolet and Ford in a close race for first place and Plymouth deserves notable mention.
