FINALLY! An easy one for me! I like the DeSoto, but I love the Pontiac. Its design looks light and airy compared to the competition. GM had its feet planted firmly in the sixties for 1961.

I really like both of these beautiful automobiles and I am happy to have diecast replicas of each one. I got to see the real ones at the Chicago Automobile Show in 1961 with my Dad and Mom and an older sister.

Big bad Poncho comes riding into town sporting those wheels, that roofline and painted that color. Chihuahua, she's beautiful senor, no? Si, she's a red hot chili pepper!

Pontiac, Pontiac, Pontiac....did I forget to say PONTIAC! It's as though the designers at DeSoto decided to do something to make sure no one would miss the final DeSoto by putting that stupid addition on the front of the hood.

DeSoto because it was the end of an era. I do like the Pontiac.

While the final Desoto holds a special place it's Pontiac for the win. In 1961 I never dreamed that in just a few years the Pontiac name would suffer the same fate as the DeSoto.

Don't know about you guy's but, the '61 Pontiac & '62 Oldsmobile are the stand out designs GMC came up with in the '50's & '60's, IMHO.

Yet another tie for me.  I like Pontiac a lot.  From grill to taillights it is a nice design change from the 1960. Tight!

I feel for the Desoto. I’m not sure why they even tried. The grill looks like an after thought after the nice Chrysler 1961 grill.  I like the color.
