@jack-dodds I think the nose may be what turns people off Jack. (Did I just say off Jack? Sorry!) of course I do love the dog.
@kevins It could be but I think that people got a bit tired of the Studebaker design over the years as its basic look remained relatively the same. I always liked it because it was sporty and something quite different. I also really liked the design tweaks done in the early 60s. This is all in spite of the fact that I am a life long Pontiac fan; the '61 thru '65 Bonnevilles, GPs (no '61), Catalinas and Venturas are especially attractive.
I LOVE this Studebaker, in spite of its general design being dated...it gets the nod by a nose. I really like the '62 GP but the '63 is the one that is a grand slam home run. Fido the wheel man has good taste in cars!
👍 Same for me.
The Hawk may be considered dated but it still stands out in the crowd of cookie cutter offerings from GM. It's the Studebaker for me. Of course I love the GP too.
Thanks Gents for the pics and responses.

That '62 hawk may well be the best refreshed design ever. It looks spectacular. But the GP steals my heart.
