I have to go with Tbird but a close decision, I do like the roof line and rear treatment of the Studabaker. 👍👀

Also close, but this morning I like the Studebaker for its elegance.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
That GT Hawk is awesome and I'd love to drive it to, and show it off at, the Country Club! Oh wait. I don't belong to the Country Club. I'll take that Thunderbird then, please John!!
Both great cars but the Thunderbird wins for it's bullet shaped body and jet exhaust tail lights. I might be prejudiced.
You? Prejudiced? Never! LOL! I sure as blazes, would be too!!Both great cars but the Thunderbird wins for it's bullet shaped body and jet exhaust tail lights. I might be prejudiced.
Thunderbird for me. after the 58-60 models the 61-63 are gems.
Like Bob's and convertibles but hard tops just don't look right to me, too tall for the body. '61 - '63 T-birds look like they were building an aircraft, I prefer cars that look like cars, not aircraft.
Studebaker today please.
Near the end of an era but I really like that Gran Turismo Studebaker. A friend has the 1962 version almost identical.
John, good morning from a very overcast Anaheim...Dayum, you've made this morning's choice really difficult for me. Those two cars are two of my all-time favorites. I love the European styling of the Studebaker but that glorious Thunderbird just beats it out by a hair. I've always preferred the 63 TB over 61/62 because of its styling that broke up the slab-sidedness. Thanks for this tough choice 👍
Once again you have made the comparison so close for me that in order to break the tie I went with which car would I feel best about having in my garage. I went with the Studebaker by a hair; mainly because they are comparatively rare and are so different from most other cars of that era. I love both cars.
I'm not excited about either look. But if forced to choose one over the other at gun point, I'd give an edge to the T-Bird. Though the T-Bird bullet look has grown on me over the the years, I just never cared for it. And the Grand Turismo is absolutely odd looking to me.

Two very different and beautiful cars...going with the Studebaker because it stands out in a crowd.
Gents, thanks for the responses.

Gotta have the Studebaker GT Hawk, my favorite year of the 3-year style.
