How can you not smile and feel good seeing this pic?
If you have either one or both of them at home with you...you are Blessed. To me there's nothing like walking thru your door and getting showered with all the love they give us 💞
Gotta love a dog...and a cat too!

@100ford2003 We are truly blessed Steve. Our cat Domino, and dog Barkley are the light of our life.
Yesterday evening my wife and I visited our son's home to help celebrate our granddaughters birthday. Our granddog greeted us for well over 5 minutes. That kind of affection cannot be duplicated. Gotta love a dog and they love you back.

"Granddog". I love it John! We have two granddog's at our son's house. Years ago we first greeted them in their new house, with doggie biscuits & cookies in our pockets. All these years later, they haven't forgotten. They fawn over us, when we first arrive, until our pockets are empty of treats! THEN; they don't believe it when they're gone! The girl dog, a pit bull, is named Bella. The boy is aptly named, Bandit!!Yesterday evening my wife and I visited our son's home to help celebrate our granddaughters birthday. Our granddog greeted us for well over 5 minutes. That kind of affection cannot be duplicated. Gotta love a dog and they love you back.
@sizedoesmatter My mother and Mother in law always referred to our critters as Grand Dogs and Grand Cats. Both of our families have always been animal lovers. Had a sad thing happen yesterday, my wife called me out to the carport as there was a kitten stuck behind some bricks. I told Lori to get a cat carrier and I would try to get the little guy out and we would take him to the vet. during the removal process where I put a towel over him, I got bit. When we got to the vet he told us that the kitten was too young to determine if he had rabies and the only way to tell was to euthanize the cat. The alternative was for me to go to the emergency room and start the rabies shots. Long story short, it turns out that the kitten has many serious health issues which makes it impossible for him to live or have a normal life. We made the tough decision to put him down and the vet will send his body to the state to determine if he had rabies. Yesterday had I had four shots and have to go back every few days for more shots. Bless the little guy as he had no chance for life.
@bob-jackman Bob, I'm sorry for the little guy, but I'm more sorry for you. Having to do a series of shots is not a pleasant experience I'm sure. Hang in there Bob. Thoughts and prayers going your way.
