The Riviera is beautiful, so overlooked after its predecessor. It wins for me.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Riviera wins easily. This year Riviera is gorgeous; second only to the original design. 1963 was the last year I liked the T-Bird styling.
Exactly what Ed and Jack said !!!

The Riv is a big car; a little bigger than I'd prefer for a 2 door. But that sculpted styling is absolutely gorgeous. The paint color heightens the lines. The T-Bird also got a little bit too large but still a handsome car. I gotta vote Buick!
O that Buick with it sleek understated design wins for me. The Thunderbird is looking a little better than early 60s but still a little boat like.
this years Buick just reminds me of the Toronado, which I never liked, so my vote goes to the beautiful T-Bird.
John, to me the Tornado appears coarse and "in-your-face" while the Riviera comes off graceful and refined.this years Buick just reminds me of the Toronado, which I never liked, so my vote goes to the beautiful T-Bird.

I would not buy either one of them. I like the T-bird but only in a convertible. Looking at the pics the Buick looks good. I would not mind either one in my garage but I really have no interest in either to buy.
I went with the TBird, by a hair. Both are beautiful.
The beautiful Riv for me as well. Although that T-bird looks great also.😊
It is a rare tie for me. The Buick exterior is so sleek but the T-Bird interior was really special. Dad had a new 1966 Town Landau which later became my second teenage car. So I like them both equally for different reasons. My current fair weather car is a 1966 T-Bird convertible and its styling still makes me smile.
@geno I remember when the Toronado and Riviera were unveiled thinking how beautifully sculptured and and proportioned they were. The Riv, to at me at least, has an understated elegance and sophistication to it, the flow of the body lines is perfection and the face execution is one of the best I’ve ever seen. The Bird is shiny.
I don't like either one of them.
