@georgeschire  I love them on almost any car. Just don't care for the eyes [headlights] starring at me.

LOL, I've never given any thought of headlights looking like eyes that stare at me.  But I do know that like headlights on all cars that are NOT hidden.  As a side note, being in a winter state, I've known two hidden headlight car owners that have had their lids over the headlights freeze in the winter cold.  Sorry, not a fan hidden headlights.

Love both but it's the Camaro that gets my vote!

Gents, thanks for your responses!

@georgeschire   To each their own. That is why they made the different styles.  I used to lock my concealed lights open in the winter weather back in the day ['66 & '68 Chargers]. Today if I owned one it would be in the garage and not driven in the New England weather.

@brush I love the hidden headlight look; my fave being the '67-68 Cougar.

The only thing wrong with the '67/'68 Cougars were those hidden headlights.  A car without headlights is like a day without sunshine.

Oh yes indeed, to each their own.  Having different likes and dislikes is what makes it fun for all of us.

I remember when we'd get "working parts" on our little 1:24 scale diecast models and some raved about them, and some didn't care for them.  I was in the latter.

Working parts, in this case hidden headlights on REAL cars, was just one more thing that could break or not work.  My opinion of course, but the less gimmicks on both the models and real cars, the better for me.

@perrone1

Tony, did you notice that the Mustang is a 67 because there are no side marker lights on it ?

I did not. But your right Steve. John even has his photo marked as a 1967 Mustang. Not too much difference between the '67 and '68. Here's the latter:

I've seen '68 Mustangs with 2 different style rear side marker lights. Some are flush with  the fender and the other is mounted on the outside.
