'69 Ford or Mercury?

I like the Cougar a lot. We've owned 3 XR7's over the years - the last two were newer generation than this blue '69. But the Mustang for '69, especially the 428 Mach 1; is too iconic and cool. My vote!

I like the Mustang. Cougar lost some of it look in 69. I did own a 73 XR7 which I liked very much.

I like the Cougar a lot. We've owned 3 XR7's over the years - the last two were newer generation than this blue '69. But the Mustang for '69, especially the 428 Mach 1; is too iconic and cool. My vote!
Ditto for me Tony; two Cougars in the past for me ('68 and '72). This year Mach I Mustang looks aggressive and sleek; the Cougar is a close second. If it was 1968, Cougar would win easily for me.

Both are wonderful. I really liked the 67 and 68 Cougars but not quite as much for the 69s. The 69 Mach I was a high-water mark for me. Mustang,

Me too. 1969 and 1970 are IMO the two best Mustangs inside and out.
I wouldn't turn down a new one, however 😉
