I'm going with the '58...because I like it! I like the '59 as well, but not as much. If it was a '58 and '60, I would vote for the '60. Great colors, John!

I just never could warm up to the styling of the '58 Buick (or Olds for that matter).  The '59 wins this one easily.

Nor could I! We owned a '58 in '58 in white with red interior and it, too, was a convertible. I was always ashamed to be seen in it - it was too ostentatious for my taste.

I went with the sedate (LOL) '59 for this exercise. Beautifully conceived choice today John!!)

1959 for me too. I'll charitably omit my opinion of the 1958.

...by the smallest margin calculated throughout the history of mankind, I choose the '59.      The breeze from a gnat's wings could change my mind.  🙄 🙄

While I am aware that some folks celebrate GM's '58 models for their excess of decorations, I prefer the '59, Buick in this instance, all day long.

'58 Buick, Olds, and Edsel were too much for my taste.  '59 Caddy and Chevy were too much for my taste.

I choose the '59 Buick, please.

PS: I love most American cars 1950 to 1972 but add to the list of cars I find are too far out for my taste, '60 - '63 Plymouths and '61 - '63 Dodges.  Not bad, of the big three there is only 12 car makes/models [in 22 years aprox. 330 different car makes offered by the big three] I totally disliked the styling of.

I did not like either of these at the time. I still feel much the same way. I was into European sports cars back then, a different type of animal.

I choose the '59. The 58 is too way over the top for me.

Both Buicks are very attractive and very different automobiles. I like them both and also have scale replicas of each car.
